I have to rewatch Jericho

I swear writing used to be easy. Like, I could sit down and write shit and be done. But now, I actually have to think things through and go "who the fuck even says that" and all that nonsense. It makes for better writing and I've been told I've improved since I started here. Not going to lie, I did improve. A lot. I didn't suck, I just got better. Anyway, that aside, I can't get my head to work properly.

Remember that time when all I ever wrote were dystopian/post-apocalyptic/angst/anythingbutfluff? I want it back. Now. I have this fic to get done before the 15th and nothing is going the way I want it to go. Also, Minho.

Fuck Choi Minho.

Not because I hate the guy or anything, because he's stupidly handsome and I kind of want to have my own one day. But, when you have Minho in a fic and there's the rest of shinee in it too, it's impossible for me to go "oh, okay, let's write minkey OR onho OR jongho." My brain kind of wants MINHO + EVERYONE INCLUDING THAT LAMPPOST.

So, this is me going to watch Jericho because SERIOUSLY I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY THAT SHOW WAS CANCELLED. It is, sincerely, the best post-apocalyptic show I have ever seen. I include The Walking Dead in that. Oh, oh, you know what? If I can't get my fic to work I am writing zombies.

THAT IS ALL.

Also, anyone know any good legends/myths that you could potentially write porn based off of? I'm in summerpornathon for the Merlin fandom and my brain hurts. Nothing Greek/Roman if it can be helped unless the Roman stuff is unique to Rome and is in no way part of Greece. Help?

you could write Medusa-based porn! or the um manticore one? where what's his face is trapped in the maze and has to fight that animal thing? only the animal could be like, Merlin and everyone thinks he's dangerous but he's not and Arthur goes in and they meet and become friends and have sex idk

oh god, that fest. It's super fun unless you're not the type to be flexible with things. Basically, everyone gets split into one of 7 teams which are named after the 7 deadly sins. Then. there's a theme given each week (this week is myths and legends besides King Arthur) and you have to write porn based off that. Last week was minor characters and that was porn from the POV of a minor character. It's fun, but then you're supposed to vote too and you have to read pages and pages of porn 8( for hours. sometimes there's good porn though so it's not all bad 8)

Hmmm what about some mermaid stuff like in pirates of the carribean 3/4? Dunno anymore but its the last part. Or we have a german myth about a sirene which bewitched shippers with her singing to crash into the rocks. But could be hard to transfer it into porn since she/he didnt meet those guys actually.
