Things Happen I 8/14
A/N: Hey there my blue winged angels <3 I am going a bit overboard aren't I? Well, whatever, because I love you all. So, here you go my precious darlings. Enjoy this chapter too. You guys deserve it =) OH AND ALSO MY BABY
pjvj10 has just posted part two of the HyukHae fic. Click here to read part 2.
Hankyung was aware that his grip on Heechul must be painful, but he didn’t let go. He didn’t even care that he had left Eunhyuk with Donghae. Well, he did, but all he could think of at the moment was how Donghae had his hands all over Heechul. He saw their lips pressed together and Heechul hadn’t even tried to move him.
“Hankyung?” Heechul asked tentatively.
He didn’t answer, mostly because he was too angry. He just opened the nearest door and shoved Heechul inside. He slammed the door shut and pushed Heechul against it. He thought he would be able to talk to Heechul, but he couldn’t. He kept seeing him and Donghae. He saw how Donghae’s hands roamed Heechul’s body. He saw the way Heechul touched his face. He turned away and started pacing.
“Hankyung?” Heechul tried again.
Hankyung turned. He walked towards Heechul, his hands shaking. Looking at Heechul was a bad idea. He ended up slamming his fists on either side of Heechul’s head. He wished he had hit Donghae harder. He should have grounded him to a pulp and watched him crawl away. But, that wasn’t right. He had lost his temper. It wasn’t like him to hit. But, Heechul, anything to do with Heechul always drove him insane.
“Your mine.” He growled none too gently. “Mine.”
Hankyung didn’t know what came over him. One second he was trying to calm down and the next he had Heechul pressed tightly against the door. His lips crashed down on Heechul’s and he kissed him, none of the usual softness was there. He was aggressive almost violent. He bit down on Heechul’s lip and ignored Heechul when he tried to pull away.
“Mine.” He said moving on to Heechul’s neck. “You’re mine.”
“Hankyung.” Heechul called out his voice shaky. “Stop.”
But, Hankyung didn’t stop. His hands moved lower down Heechul’s side. He moved his hands under Heechul’s shirt and pressed his fingers into the soft skin on Heechul’s hip.
“I’m not going to stop.” Hankyung said. “I’m not going to stop until I have you screaming my name, until everyone here knows who you belong to. You’re mine Heechul, mine.”
Hankyung dropped to his knees. He started fumbling with Heechul’s pants, but two hands stopped him. Hankyung looked up and finally met Heechul’s eyes. They were wide, scared.
“Please, don’t.”
Hankyung tried to reason with himself and couldn’t. He just went back to what he was doing.
“Hankyung, wait.” Heechul said again, his voice trembling.
And it was the voice more than anything that made him stop. He took a deep breath as he stood up and turned away.
“Hankyung.” Heechul called to him when he said nothing.
“Why?” he asked eyes closed in an attempt to calm down.
“I didn’t know he was going to do that.” Heechul whispered.
“Why didn’t you stop him?” he asked opening his eyes.
“Hankyung.” Heechul whispered. “You’re kind of scaring me.”
Hankyung exhaled and walked away. He ran a hand though his hair roughly. He didn’t want to scare Heechul. He knew Heechul was right. He hadn’t done anything. It was all Donghae, Donghae who was probably laughing with Yoona.
“Move.” He said walking to the door.
“Where are you going?” Heechul asked softly.
“I’m going to kill Donghae.” He said.
He looked at Heechul in time to see the small smirk. It was enough to stop Hankyung. He looked down at Heechul. The smirk was clearly visible now as he raised his head.
“What?” Hankyung asked.
“What was that?”
“What was what?”
“You punched Donghae.” Heechul smirked.
Hankyung was momentarily distracted by Heechul’s hand on his belt.
“What are you doing?” Hankyung asked.
“I can’t believe you were jealous.”
“Don’t remind me.” Hankyung snapped. “He touched you. What the hell was that Heechul? What the fucking hell?”
“Mm,” Heechul whispered looping a finger through Hankyung’s belt.
Hankyung let Heechul pull him closer. He wasn’t angry anymore. How could ever be angry at Heechul? It was unfair really. Heechul had those big dark eyes. There was something in them that made Hankyung want to forget. He moved so that he had Heechul pressed against the door, their faces inches from each other.
“Don’t let anyone touch you again, understand? I’m the only one who can ever touch you like that. You’re mine Kim Heechul. Mine.” He whispered.
“I love it when you’re jealous.” Heechul murmured running his hands over Hankyung’s stomach.
Hankyung closed his eyes. He let himself feel Heechul’s touch. He sighed as Heechul’s hands moved up his stomach and chest, over his shoulders and around his neck.
“Now I know why you love it when I’m jealous.”
“Hm? You do?” Hankyung asked looking down at Heechul.
“Yes.” Heechul whispered moving a hand to Hankyung’s hair. “You’re so damn sexy when you’re jealous.”
Hankyung’s laugh was low and slightly breathless. He tugged Heechul closer as he leaned down. Their lips were millimeters from each other when Hankyung put a finger to Heechul’s lips. He laughed at the outrage in Heechul’s face.
“What?” Heechul snapped.
“You smell like Donghae. How do expect me to kiss you after you and him exchanged saliva?”
“Shut up.”
“Make me.”
Heechul’s smirk sent Hankyung’s heart racing. This time when Heechul’s hand moved to his hair, he let their lips met.

Yesung’s hand still stung even though it had been almost half an hour since he had hit Donghae. It wasn’t so much the punch that hurt, but his guilty conscious that kept telling him that it should. He knew he shouldn’t have done it, but Donghae deserved it. He’d seen Eunhyuk’s dead eyes and he knew Donghae deserved it.
“Yesung?”
He spun around. His heart thumped loudly as Ryeowook walked in. Yesung loved watching Wookie. He liked how even though the other man was smaller, he seemed more confident. He walked like nothing in the world would ever make him change how he thought. And Yesung loved Wookie’s short dark hair.
“Wookie.” He said.
“Are you alright?”
“No, actually, I’m not alright. I’m guilty.” Yesung answered.
“You wouldn’t be guilty if you hadn’t hit Donghae.”
Yesung frowned. “That’s funny. That almost sounded like you were telling me I was wrong.”
“I am.” Ryeowook said. “You shouldn’t have hit Donghae.”
Yesung laughed. He was angry, yes. He was angry at Donghae, angry at Wookie for even suggesting that he had done wrong. He had overreacted, but he thought it was called for.
“I don’t understand.” Yesung said.
“Yeah? That’s new.”
Yesung knew Wookie didn’t mean it. He saw the apology in Wook’s eyes as soon as the words were out of his mouth. Still, it hurt.
“Yesung, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that.”
“No, you meant it. And I can understand that you would side with your friend, but have you thought about what he did?”
“He had his reasons.”
Yesung raised an eyebrow. “Reasons? You think there are reasons for what he did? What if it had been Eunhyuk? What if Eunhyuk made Donghae fall in love with him then did that to him? Would you be able to smile at Eunhyuk if he gave Donghae a ring in the morning and dumped him the day after they were together?”
“No.” Wookie said. “But can you really believe that after a year of going out, Donghae could throw it all away?”
“Yes.” Yesung said. “Yes I do.”
“So, if I were to tell you that I don’t love you after what we’ve gone through, you would believe me?”
Yesung frowned. When had this become about them? He watched Wookie and saw a question in his eyes. He knew that his answer would do or undo their relationship. It was nerve wrecking in a way, but he knew the answer Wookie wanted and he knew the answer he wanted to give. And they were the same.
“I wouldn’t. But, Eunhyuk believed him.”
“Yesung.” Wookie pleaded. “He had his reasons.”
“Well, if that’s how you feel then you should go with your friend and I’ll go with mine.”
Yesung didn’t mean it. He loved Wookie. He didn’t want to lose him. But, Wookie had made it personal and he needed to know what Wookie thought.
“No.” Ryeowook whispered reaching for Yesung’s face. “Don’t make this about us.”
Yesung sighed. He put his head against Ryeowook’s. They stayed that way for a while, just looking at each other. Yesung spoke first.
“I’m not saying I agree, but I love you. I don’t want to fight over something that’s not about us.”
“Good because I love you too.”

Donghae didn’t look after Hankyung and Heechul. His jaw hurt on both sides now. But, even that wasn’t enough to distract him from the man in front of him. Eunhyuk still had his back to him. He wanted to run to him and hold him. It was almost too much. He arms were aching to hug Eunhyuk, to run his hands though that short black hair.
“Eunhyuk.” He whispered before he could stop himself.
Donghae took a shaky breath. He wanted to hit himself. Why had he called him? Why? He didn’t want Eunhyuk to turn. He prayed that Eunhyuk would ignore him and leave. But, he didn’t have that much luck. Eunhyuk turned and Donghae saw the red rimmed eyes.
“You were crying?” he asked voice soft.
“That’s a stupid question.” Eunhyuk muttered.
Donghae felt his heart clench. Eunhyuk’s voice was so cold, so emotionless, so empty.
“Are you crying because of me?” He asked for no reason other than because he wanted to hear Eunhyuk’s voice.
“Were you normally this stupid or is Yoona finally getting to you?”
And then Donghae couldn’t do it anymore. He had never been strong. He would never be strong. He just wanted to be comforted. He wanted Eunhyuk.
“I am stupid, hyukkie.” He whispered knowing that Eunhyuk heard every word. “I am so stupid for hurting you. I love you. You have to know that.”
Donghae stepped forward. He wanted to close the distance between them. He wanted to hold Eunhyuk against him. He turned his pleading eyes on him, but the look in the other man’s eyes stopped him. Eunhyuk was crying, the tears pouring freely down his face. Donghae reached forward and Eunhyuk slipped away.
“What?” Eunhyuk asked voice broken, hurt. “You don’t have enough with hurting me, now you want to rub salt to the wounds? Don’t pretend. I don’t want to have to hate you.”
“But, Eunhyuk,” Donghae said his own voice hoarse with emotion. “I do love you. Yoona…she means nothing.”
Donghae watched Eunhyuk’s eyes shut tight. He watched Eunhyuk wrap his arms around himself. The pain in the other man’s face broke Donghae’s heart.
“Leave me alone.” Eunhyuk moaned. “What do you want from me?”
“Eunhyuk, do you…are you…”
Donghae broke off. He couldn’t bring himself to ask the question. Eunhyuk loved him, had to love him. He wanted to just kiss Eunhyuk and be done with it.
“What!?” Eunhyuk gasped out. “You want to hear what you did to me? Do you want me to tell you how I felt when you told me everything? Would that make you happy? Well, fine! I don’t care anymore. When you left me, you broke my heart. Watching you with Yoona kills me inside. I love you, damn it! I love you and I hate you for it. I hate you Lee Donghae.”
Donghae watched Eunhyuk leave. He reached forward to stop him, but missed. He couldn’t move. The words I hate you echoed through his head. It couldn’t be true. Eunhyuk couldn’t have him. Donghae needed him. He looked at the place where Eunhyuk had stood moments before. What should he do?
He blinked. He had to go after him. He had to explain. Forget Yoona. Forget his father. He couldn’t do it. He wanted to be selfish, needed to be selfish. It took him another second before he broke off into a run. He ran down the hallway in the direction Eunhyuk had gone. He ignored the calls from girls as he ran. He brushed past other students, pushed people out of his way.
He ignored the calls from people as he ran. He thought he caught a glimpse of Yesung and Ryeowook but he didn’t care. He was focused on one thing: Eunhyuk. He ran to the dorm and stopped when he was a good distance away. He stopped not because he wanted to, but because he had to. He couldn’t find Eunhyuk. He couldn’t abandon his father like that. He wouldn’t leave his family. He owed it to his father.
“Eunhyuk.” He whispered. “Eunhyuk, I’m sorry.”
He walked towards the window he knew was Eunhyuk’s. His heart thumped loudly. He sat down, his back against the wall. He wrapped his arms around his legs. He could see the pain in Eunhyuk’s eyes. He saw the lost look in Eunhyuk’s eyes. He heard Eunhyuk’s cold voice. He saw Eunhyuk’s smile. He heard Eunhyuk’s voice by his ear. He saw Eunhyuk in his arms murmuring I love you. The difference between his Eunhyuk and this Eunhyuk broke his heart.
He looked up and saw a bright light to his right. He stood and picked up the silver ring. The name Eunhyuk blinked at him. He traced his fingers over the name. He kissed the ring and put it one. Then he turned and walked back to his dorm.
He ignored the calls from some of his classmates. He ignored the flirting girls. He shook off the really persistent people and kept walking. He couldn’t feel anything. All he could see was Eunhyuk with tears running down his face. All he could hear were the words I love you, I hate you. They echoed in his head. They drowned him. They clawed at his heart until all he could do was concentrate; concentrate on getting his breath in and out of his body.
He wouldn’t cry. He wouldn’t give Yoona that satisfaction.
Donghae kept his head down and increased his pace.
Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk.
He kept seeing him. He kept hearing those words spoken with such pain.
Eunhyuk.
Donghae pulled open the door to his dorm. He walked into his room and only when he was on his bed face down, only then did he break down. His body shook as his sobs chocked him. His hands reached out to grab anything that would muffle his cries.
“Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk.” He cried his voice broken and raw. “Eunhyuk, I love you. Please.”
“Please.” He whispered.
A/N: Quick, someone comfort my poor babies. I'm sorry for the angst, but there you go. Love Donghae! So, there you have it guys and I hope you liked it. Tell me what you think. I always love to know what you guys think.
