Title: Things Happen V 5/7 (part of the Golden Boy AU)
Pairing: main!Zhou Ry side: Hanchul, Kyumin, Yewon, Eunhae

Summary: Kyuhyun was bored. Zhou Mi was there. So, can you really blame him for wanting to have a little fun?

A/N: So, hello there. I am posting this early because I am supposed to be doing homework and I don't want to do it =/ So, I am taking a break and I will get back to it as soon as I am done posting this chapter. So, here we go. Chapter 5 of 7 and I think...I just...Zhou Mi makes me so happy. “Come on Donghae.” Zhou Mi said taking Donghae’s arms. “Let’s leave Eunhyuk to rest.”
“No.” Donghae said snatching his hand away. “I want to hear what Eunhyuk has to say and I don’t want to see you.”
Zhou Mi knew that Eunhyuk wasn’t okay. He needed rest and relaxation. How else was he supposed to get better? He was so tired already. So, despite Donghae’s protests, Zhou Mi dragged him outside glad that his height made up for his lack of Siwon muscles. He made a mental note to work out more as he ran out of breath.
“Let go of me.” Donghae snapped snatching his arm away.
“Okay. Fine.” Zhou Mi said holding his hands away. “Whatever you want Hae.”
“Don’t call me Hae, only Eunhyuk is allowed to call me that.”
Zhou Mi sighed. What was with these people anyway? Heechul and Yesung were all avoiding him like crazy and whenever he tried to talk to either of them, they’d just glare at him. Siwon wasn’t any better. Siwon acted like Zhou Mi had the plague. At least Hankyung wasn’t weird, even if he did avoid being alone with Zhou Mi. Zhou Mi blamed Heechul for that. Talk about possessive.
“What’s wrong?” Zhou Mi asked ignoring the fact that Donghae was practically seething.
“What’s wrong? Really? You can ask me what’s wrong, as if you didn’t know?”
Zhou Mi blinked and pouted.
“Ugh, what is wrong with you?” Donghae asked exasperated. “Why do you have to be so adorable?”
Zhou Mi brightened. “I think you’re adorable too Hae! Oh, oops, I mean Donghae.”
Donghae just blinked.
“What are you talking about Zhou Mi?”
Zhou Mi shrugged and pulled on Donghae’s arm. He walked him along the hallways. He was happy again. Donghae thought he was adorable. Donghae who was the epitome of adorable thought he, Zhou Mi, was adorable. That was more than Zhou Mi’s head could take.
“Donghae, do you seriously think I’m adorable?”
“Why were you all over Eunhyuk?” Donghae asked ignoring his question.
“Oh, that.” Zhou Mi said waiving it away.
It wasn’t like he didn’t want to answer. He did. He was just too hyper right now. It was like giving Donghae candy, except with him it was compliments. He was hyper on compliments. He worked so hard at dressing well and to know that it paid off was more than enough for him. Zhou Mi was a fashion statement and he liked to be appreciated.
He was still off in his happy land when Donghae grabbed onto his arm, hard.
“Ow, what?” Zhou Mi pouted upset.
But, Donghae didn’t answer. He was too busy staring at Zhou Mi. Zhou Mi took his opportunity and moved his arm away. He frowned, a little puzzled as to why Donghae had gone from angry to baffled in the last five seconds.
“Zhou Mi, what is wrong with you?”
“What do you mean what’s wrong with me?”
“You drag me away from Eunhyuk when I should be with him and then you refuse to answer my question when I ask you. And on top of all of that you’re acting so adorably oblivious as if you hadn’t done anything wrong.”
Zhou Mi frowned confused this time.
“What are you talking about?”
Donghae sighed. “Why were you all over Eunhyuk Zhou Mi. Do you like him?”
“Of course I do.” Zhou Mi said.
“WHAT?”
“Why are you so loud?” Zhou Mi asked rubbing the side of his head. “It’s not like there are any more people here to hear you. It’s just me.”
“You like Eunhyuk?”
Zhou Mi sighed. So, he didn’t want a Donghae either. Donghae was adorable and everything, but he didn’t want someone so loud. Zhou Mi was more than enough hyperness in his opinion. He didn’t need someone with so much energy. And certainly not someone who didn’t understand what he was saying.
“I like Eunhyuk.” Zhou Mi repeated slowly.
“Zhou Mi!”
“What? Why are you yelling?”
“You can’t like Eunhyuk!”
“Why not?” Zhou Mi asked then smirked. “I like you too.”
Donghae’s mouth dropped open and all he could do was stare at Zhou Mi. Zhou Mi grinned and leaned down putting an arm around Donghae.
“I like you a lot Donghae. Don’t worry I won’t tell Eunhyuk about us.”
“Tell Eunhyuk about what?”
“Oh, Hyukikie.” Zhou Mi smiled turning himself and Donghae around.
“Get off of him Zhou Mi.”
Zhou Mi pouted. Why was everyone being so mean to him? What had he done to them all? Boyfriends and relationships must be stressing he concluded. There was no other way to explain why everyone was acting so cold. Yesung and Heechul and now Eunhyuk.
“Get off Zhou Mi.” Eunhyuk repeated as he glared at Donghae. “You, get over here and help me. I can’t walk you cheating, little, FISH!”
Donghae frowned but moved from under Zhou Mi’s arm.
“What’s wrong with being a fish?” Donghae muttered as he went to help Eunhyuk off the wall. “It’s not like I was the one with Zhou Mi’s hands all over me.”
“Hmph, you’re the one with the secret relationship.” Eunhyuk said grabbing onto Donghae anyway.
“Am not!”
“Are too!”
"Liar"
“Monkey!”
“Fish!”
“I hate you!”
“I love you!”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
“Aw, Hae, I love you too.”
Zhou Mi rolled his eyes.
“Annoying aren’t they?” Henry said coming to Zhou Mi.
Zhou Mi smiled. “They have to be. They’re Eunhae.”
“We are NOT annoying!” Eunhyuk said glaring at Zhou Mi. “Zhou Mi’s the one who’s annoying. He was all over Donghae. You’d think he was the boyfriend.”
“No, he wasn’t.” Donghae said. “He had his hands all over you. His hands were on your thigh. Hyukkie, even my hands don’t get to go that high in public, but you let him.”
“I didn’t. He likes you.”
“No, he doesn’t.”
“Ask him, watch.” Eunhyuk insisted.
“Fine,” Donghae said turning to Zhou Mi. “Who do you like? Me or Eunhyuk?”
Zhou Mi blinked. “Both of you.”
And with that Zhou Mi walked away leaving behind a seething Henry and a very confused Eunhae.

Henry glared after Zhou Mi. He didn’t know why he was so upset. Why did he care that Zhou Mi liked Donghae and Eunhyuk. He shouldn’t care. It shouldn’t matter to him. Who was Zhou Mi anyway? He was just another player who wanted to be in everyone’s business, but Henry’s.
He sighed inwardly. Why was Zhou Mi after everyone, but him? Was it because of Hankyung? Or because Zhou Mi didn’t like him? Was he really that unlikable? Was he ugly? Did he have a bad accent? Was he too innocent looking? Should he go cut his hair and work out some more? Should he drink more milk and maybe grow three more inches?
What did Zhou Mi want?
“OH!” He exclaimed when he realized where his thoughts were.
“What oh?” Donghae, who had also been frowning after Zhou Mi, asked.
“Nothing.” Henry said turning away so that the two in front of him wouldn’t see his face.
“What do you mean nothing?” Eunhyuk asked shoving himself off of Donghae.
“I meant nothing.” Henry insisted.
“That didn’t sound like nothing.”
“Leave him alone Eunhyuk. He didn’t do anything to you.”
“Oh, so now you’re defending him too?” Eunhyuk glared. “What next? You’ll be sleeping with Kyuhyun?”
“Hyukkie! Henry’s here.”
“Forget Henry.” Eunhyuk said grabbing onto Henry when he almost fell. “Thank you Henry. I love you.”
“You love him?” Donghae asked moving forward.
“Yes.” Eunhyuk answered holding onto Henry with both arms. “He doesn’t have a secret relationship with Zhou Mi.”
“How do you know he doesn’t?” Donghae asked his glare now focused on Henry. “Besides, at least I wasn’t the one with Zhou Mi’s hands all over me.”
“He did have his hands all over you. He was practically breathing in your ear too!”
“He was not!”
“He said he liked you!”
“He said he liked you too!”
“OH MY GOD! Will you two shut up?!” Henry finally exploded. “You two sound like a bunch of little babies. Get over it!”
Eunhyuk moved away. “Ouch. Someone’s in a bad mood.”
“Get away from him Hyukkie. He’s going to infect you with his impatience and then you’ll be all evil too.” Donghae said reaching for Eunhyuk.
“Ew, I don’t want to be a Henry.”
Henry rolled his eyes. He didn’t understand this. Two grown men acting like little children. He just didn’t understand it.
“Come on Hae, let’s go. Henry doesn’t seem to want us here.”
“Nope, I don’t.” Henry answered pleasantly.
“He’s so mean.” Eunhyuk said as they walked away.
“Yeah, I guess being the youngest one does that to you. Maybe we should stop babying him and make him do more stuff around the dorms.” Donghae said.
“You know that’s not such a bad idea. I do need that laundry done.”
“Oh, I can help you!” Donghae beamed.
“Really?”
“Yeah!”
“Donghae?”
“Yeah?”
“I love you.”
“Will you two get a room?” Henry shouted after them.
He was ignored and had to endure a public display of affection between Eunhyuk and Donghae. As if he didn’t have enough with Yesung and Siwon and Kyuhyun and Sungmin. At least Hankyung respected him enough to drag Heechul to the nearest closet when he couldn’t take it anymore.
Henry shuddered. The things these walls could tell him if they could talk. He made sure to thank life that inanimate objects remained that way. And as for Zhou Mi.
Oh was Zhou Mi going to hear him. He was so annoyed for some reason. Why was Zhou Mi like this? Always hanging over someone who was already taken. Why did he have to go after them? Zhou Mi was good looking enough, nice enough, caring enough, to get whoever he wanted. There were lines of girls waiting for him to turn to them. There were even guys too.
Zhou Mi was brilliant. He was…he was Zhou Mi.
Why would he think that he had to go after his friends to be liked? Why was he teasing everyone so much. Hankyung? Siwon? Eunhyuk? Donghae? He’d already dated Kyuhyun. Who was left? Heechul? Yesung? Sungmin? Himself, Henry?
Henry knew that Zhou MI didn’t go after Heechul, because honestly who would? Heechul was in love with Hankyung and that meant he was possessive to the extreme. It made Henry wonder why Zhou Mi had gone after Hankyung in the first place. He wouldn’t have, not that he wanted too, not that he liked Hankyung’s nice hair or his brown eyes or that smile, not that he thought Hankyung was attractive, because he didn’t.
But, say he did, for arguments sake. He still wouldn’t go after Hankyung or Heechul. Those two were safe because Heechul was scary when he was angry. And as for Yesung, well, Yesung was too caring about them all for anyone to really consider going for him, not to mention that he was in love with Siwon and probably wouldn’t even notice that Zhou Mi was flirting with him.
That meant that the only people left were Sungmin and him. And he knew enough to know that Zhou Mi would most certainly never go after Sungmin, not when Kyuhyun had been the love of his life once upon a time. That meant that he was next.
“What am I going to do?”
“About what?”
Henry turned around and tried to find the nearest exit. Why did this always have to happen? The minute he thought about Zhou Mi, the man had to appear. Was it his curse? Did he have to forever watch his train of thought so as to avoid things like this?
“Hey Zhou Mi.” he said. “I didn’t know you were here. I thought you left.”
“I did, but then I remembered I saw you here and came back.”
“Why?”
Zhou Mi smiled. “I wanted to see if you had your sexuality in order yet.”
Henry took a minute to wonder what would happen if he punched Zhou Mi.

Zhou Mi smiled down at Henry. He really was cute. Zhou Mi liked those cheeks of his and that angry glare. It was all so adorable, just the way he liked them and Henry wasn’t noisy like Donghae.
He sighed. If only Henry would come out and realize that he really like Zhou Mi. Life would be so much easier if he could follow that little thread of attraction that had started when he first saw Henry play. It was like nothing he had ever seen before. Henry was the music, was so in love with what he did. Henry belonged with his hands on that violin. He played with his heart and soul entirely focused on that.
It was enough to make anyone stop and look at him, but it had hit Zhou Mi particularly hard. He would never forget the intense look in those eyes. He would never be able to wipe that look that said that the world belonged to Henry.
But, Henry didn’t like Zhou Mi. Hankyung had said that Zhou Mi should give Henry space and he had. And now Zhou Mi knew for a fact that Henry didn’t like him. And still, why not try. Maybe Henry just needed a little shove in the right direction. Maybe Hankyung was wrong and he should be more open. Maybe he could have a Henry since he liked the thought of Zhou Ry. It was nice.
“I wanted to see if you had your sexuality in order yet.” Zhou Mi smirked.
He watched the flush on Henry’s face and wondered if he had done the right thing.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Oh, come on Henry.” Zhou Mi said playful. “We both know that you really like guys and you just haven’t admitted to it yet.”
“Yeah?” Henry said angrier than Zhou Mi had expected. “Well, at least I’m only in denial. I’m not the one who goes around trying to seduce everything that moves. At least my problem can be fixed by admitting that I’m wrong. You can’t fix anything since you know perfectly well what you’re doing.”
“What?” Zhou Mi asked confused.
He hadn’t expected an outburst like that.
“Ugh, I hate you. How can you even stand there and say that to me?”
“Oh, Henry.” Zhou Mi said as an idea formed in his head. “Are you jealous?”
“Oh my god.” Henry said his eyes going wide. “You know what? Maybe I am you loser.”
Zhou Mi couldn’t enjoy the answer because Henry chose that time to walk away and instead of going after him, Zhou Mi stayed in that same spot practically melting with joy.

He was ignored and had to endure a public display of affection between Eunhyuk and Donghae. As if he didn’t have enough with Yesung and Siwon and Kyuhyun and Sungmin. At least Hankyung respected him enough to drag Heechul to the nearest closet when he couldn’t take it anymore.
Henry shuddered. The things these walls could tell him if they could talk. He made sure to thank life that inanimate objects remained that way. And as for Zhou Mi.
Oh was Zhou Mi going to hear him. He was so annoyed for some reason. Why was Zhou Mi like this? Always hanging over someone who was already taken. Why did he have to go after them? Zhou Mi was good looking enough, nice enough, caring enough, to get whoever he wanted. There were lines of girls waiting for him to turn to them. There were even guys too.
Zhou Mi was brilliant. He was…he was Zhou Mi.
Why would he think that he had to go after his friends to be liked? Why was he teasing everyone so much. Hankyung? Siwon? Eunhyuk? Donghae? He’d already dated Kyuhyun. Who was left? Heechul? Yesung? Sungmin? Himself, Henry?
Henry knew that Zhou MI didn’t go after Heechul, because honestly who would? Heechul was in love with Hankyung and that meant he was possessive to the extreme. It made Henry wonder why Zhou Mi had gone after Hankyung in the first place. He wouldn’t have, not that he wanted too, not that he liked Hankyung’s nice hair or his brown eyes or that smile, not that he thought Hankyung was attractive, because he didn’t.
But, say he did, for arguments sake. He still wouldn’t go after Hankyung or Heechul. Those two were safe because Heechul was scary when he was angry. And as for Yesung, well, Yesung was too caring about them all for anyone to really consider going for him, not to mention that he was in love with Siwon and probably wouldn’t even notice that Zhou Mi was flirting with him.
That meant that the only people left were Sungmin and him. And he knew enough to know that Zhou Mi would most certainly never go after Sungmin, not when Kyuhyun had been the love of his life once upon a time. That meant that he was next.
“What am I going to do?”
“About what?”
Henry turned around and tried to find the nearest exit. Why did this always have to happen? The minute he thought about Zhou Mi, the man had to appear. Was it his curse? Did he have to forever watch his train of thought so as to avoid things like this?
“Hey Zhou Mi.” he said. “I didn’t know you were here. I thought you left.”
“I did, but then I remembered I saw you here and came back.”
“Why?”
Zhou Mi smiled. “I wanted to see if you had your sexuality in order yet.”
Henry took a minute to wonder what would happen if he punched Zhou Mi.

Zhou Mi smiled down at Henry. He really was cute. Zhou Mi liked those cheeks of his and that angry glare. It was all so adorable, just the way he liked them and Henry wasn’t noisy like Donghae.
He sighed. If only Henry would come out and realize that he really like Zhou Mi. Life would be so much easier if he could follow that little thread of attraction that had started when he first saw Henry play. It was like nothing he had ever seen before. Henry was the music, was so in love with what he did. Henry belonged with his hands on that violin. He played with his heart and soul entirely focused on that.
It was enough to make anyone stop and look at him, but it had hit Zhou Mi particularly hard. He would never forget the intense look in those eyes. He would never be able to wipe that look that said that the world belonged to Henry.
But, Henry didn’t like Zhou Mi. Hankyung had said that Zhou Mi should give Henry space and he had. And now Zhou Mi knew for a fact that Henry didn’t like him. And still, why not try. Maybe Henry just needed a little shove in the right direction. Maybe Hankyung was wrong and he should be more open. Maybe he could have a Henry since he liked the thought of Zhou Ry. It was nice.
“I wanted to see if you had your sexuality in order yet.” Zhou Mi smirked.
He watched the flush on Henry’s face and wondered if he had done the right thing.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Oh, come on Henry.” Zhou Mi said playful. “We both know that you really like guys and you just haven’t admitted to it yet.”
“Yeah?” Henry said angrier than Zhou Mi had expected. “Well, at least I’m only in denial. I’m not the one who goes around trying to seduce everything that moves. At least my problem can be fixed by admitting that I’m wrong. You can’t fix anything since you know perfectly well what you’re doing.”
“What?” Zhou Mi asked confused.
He hadn’t expected an outburst like that.
“Ugh, I hate you. How can you even stand there and say that to me?”
“Oh, Henry.” Zhou Mi said as an idea formed in his head. “Are you jealous?”
“Oh my god.” Henry said his eyes going wide. “You know what? Maybe I am you loser.”
Zhou Mi couldn’t enjoy the answer because Henry chose that time to walk away and instead of going after him, Zhou Mi stayed in that same spot practically melting with joy.
