A/N: Hello there! I bet no one even remembers this fic huh? XD I am sorry for the long wait, but I was having some trouble finding my files. I did find them though and I decided to update this fic because I miss it and I was promised love forever if I did =) So here it is and I hope you enjoy it and as a quick note. I am so behind on stuff so lots of fics are on hold at the moment, so sorry but there's a long wait for the fics I promised. In the meantime enjoy the last part of the Golden Boy AU and It's High School because those are done and I just need to post. Also there is a contest announced here on miracle about collab fics and I think it's a good idea. Go check it out =)

Zhou Mi yawned. He was walking to class wearing his new clothes and he was kind of drawing attention. He could hear the fan girl screams coming from all over the place. It was nice. He smiled at a group of them, but his smile was soon replaced by a concerned frown when they all broke down into fits of squealing.

“Are you okay?” he asked the nearest girl.

The poor thing just went all wide eyed and white and fell away from him. Zhou Mi reached forward to keep her from falling, but she ended up on the floor in her attempt to get away from him.

“I’m so sorry.” He said helping her up. “Are you okay?”

“I…I’m…it’s okay. I’m fine.”

Zhou Mi smiled at her and the girl went bright red. His smile widened and he turned to leave. Fans were so cute with their nervousness and what not.

“Zhou Mi oppa.”

Zhou Mi turned. “Yes?”

“I love you.” The girl yelled at him.

“Oh, um, I love you too.” Zhou Mi answered big eyed cuteness on full blast.

He didn’t know of course. That’s why he was a bit confused at the girl’s reaction and why she ran away so fast. Zhou Mi’s mouth curved into a pout.

“What are you doing hyung?”

He turned and saw Henry looking at him with a slight concerned expression on his face.

“I’m wondering why everyone runs away from me.” Zhou Mi said careful to give Henry space.

“Runs away?” Henry asked tilting his face up to look at him.

“Yeah.” Zhou Mi said.

He had an arm around Henry and was off telling his story of what had happened, before he even realized it. He was so into the story that he didn’t notice the way Henry was squirming under his arm. Zhou Mi just kept up his animated talk until he realized that he was hungry.

“Hey, Henry, want to get something to eat?”

“Um, sure.”

“Great!” Zhou Mi said leading the way out.

He didn’t know where they were going, but he was too distracted to care. He liked watching Henry’s reactions that were always sort of shy. He patted Henry’s head a few times and kept on talking. Then, because he had wanted to do it for so long, he pinched Henry’s cheeks.
***
Henry didn’t know why he agreed to go eat alone with Zhou Mi. Henry didn’t know why it bothered him that he was going to eat alone with Zhou Mi. It wasn’t like it wasn’t something normal to go eat with a hyung. It was completely normal.

There was nothing wrong with getting a table for two in the corner farthest from all the eyes. There was nothing wrong with Zhou Mi leaning forward all the time, as if everything that came out of Henry’s mouth were of utmost importance. There was nothing wrong with Zhou Mi offering him bites of his food.

There was nothing wrong with that. What was wrong, what was bothering Henry so much was what he, himself, was thinking.

He knew that Zhou Mi was single, free to do what he wanted. He knew Zhou Mi had been trying to go after Hankyung and Siwon. It wasn’t okay, but Henry knew that Zhou Mi would never hurt his friends. Zhou Mi wasn’t like that. Zhou Mi was too nice to do something like that, too sweet to ever be hurtful, too caring to ever intentionally cause pain.

And that was the problem.

Henry couldn’t stop thinking about Zhou Mi like that. Every time Zhou Mi’s hand reached for something on the table and came anywhere near his, his whole heart would jump out of his chest. Every time Zhou Mi said something, he would lean forward hoping that Zhou Mi might meet him halfway. It was getting ridiculous just how far his thoughts were taking him.

“Henry, are you listening?”

“Huh?” Henry asked looking up and hating himself for liking Zhou Mi’s eyes.

“Yeah, I’m listening.”

“Okay, then, what did I just say?”

Henry blinked. “Why are you flirting with Han Geng-ge? And why did you go for Siwon after?”

Zhou Mi stared at him and his face broke out into a wide smile.

“I was checking something. There’s really no way I could steal them away from the loves of their lives, but I wanted to see something. It’s not like there’s anyone free besides…you.”

“Yeah.” Henry answered turning away.

“Have you had a girlfriend before Henry?” Zhou Mi asked peeking at him.

“Yes.” Henry answered without hesitating.

“Oh.”

It was true. He’d had a girlfriend before. He’d dated her for a while and then they’d broken things off because he was tired, not paying enough attention to her, etc, etc… And then, he really hadn’t cared because he was going to leave Canada anyway.

He just wished now that Zhou Mi would stop with the roundabout questions and just ask him what he really wanted to ask. Henry wanted to hear Zhou Mi ask him if he liked him. He wanted Zhou Mi to stop pouting because that look was making Henry nervous.

Wait…what?

Henry shook his head and looked at Zhou Mi who was watching him closely. There was no way. NO WAY. No way, he was starting to like Zhou Mi. Just because he happened to like the smooth whiteness of Zhou Mi’s skin, just because he liked that smile, just because Zhou Mi’s laughter was slightly addicting, just because Henry liked Zhou Mi hugs, did NOT mean he liked Zhou Mi. He didn’t like Zhou Mi.

He only liked Zhou Mi as a brother, as a friend. He didn’t like Zhou Mi.

Henry almost laughed out with relief when he realized how dumb he was being. Of course he didn’t like Zhou Mi.

“Hey, Henry-ah?” Zhou Mi asked tilting his head to the side.

“I don’t like you!”

Zhou Mi laughed and Henry looked out the window wishing the floor would swallow him whole.

“You don’t like me?” Zhou Mi asked his voice too close for comfort.

Henry dared a peak at the other man and regretted it. Zhou Mi was leaning across the table again. He wasn’t close enough to cause any normal person discomfort, but this was Henry who was suddenly questioning his sexuality. And Henry wasn’t a normal person, not to mention he was nervous out of his mind.

“Gah, get away.” He said a little too loudly.

“Aw, but Henry, I stay away all the time. Han Geng-ge won’t let me near you. Can’t I have this one moment? Come on Henry. Please.” Zhou Mi asked all big eyes and pouting lips.

“Fine.” Henry sighed. “What do you want?”

Zhou Mi smirked. “Do you like me?”

Henry watched Zhou Mi carefully. The question was innocent, right? He was supposed to be the innocent one, why was he doubting Zhou Mi’s intentions? He had to believe that it was innocent, because it was.

“Of course I do Mimi.” He said.

“Oh, you called me Mimi! You gave me a nickname!”

“Yeah, I guess I did.” Henry answered blinded by the smile Zhou Mi turned on him.

“I love you.”

Henry’s heart gave an involuntary thump.

Interesting.

“I love you too Mimi.” He said just to try.

“Okay, let’s go see the others now. Han Geng will kill me if he finds out I stole you away. He thinks I’m a bad influence.”

Henry shook his head as he followed Zhou Mi. Maybe Zhou Mi was a bad influence. He certainly hadn’t felt all these weird things with any other hyung. Maybe he should stay away from Zhou Mi.
***
Zhou Mi was walking or rather bouncing down the hallway. He had just dropped Henry off to his class with Donghae, Eunhyuk and Hankyung. Something about dancing but Zhou Mi really hadn’t paid much attention. He was still off in his own world rejoicing at his new name.

Mimi.

He liked the sound of it. It could be turned into a great stage name. He could see it now. Gentleman Mimi. Yes, he liked it. He’d have to thank Henry for that when he became famous and got an award. He’d like a big statue in his name, but he’d settle for something he could carry home. And who knew, maybe home would be with one of his friends.

The world was a constantly changing place. Maybe tomorrow Hankyung would decide that he needed someone besides Heechul. Maybe a year from now they’d be GengMi instead of Hanchul. Or maybe he’d be WonMi or MiWon or SiMi or MiSi or whatever it was. Then again maybe he didn’t like the idea of Siwon. Maybe he wanted to be Zhou Ry.

Oh.

Zhou Ry.

It had a nice ring to it.

Zhou Ry.

It flowed.

Zhou Mi shook his head. Nope, couldn’t happen. Henry was strictly anti Zhou Mi. Zhou Mi was surprised Henry had agreed to go anywhere alone with him. He’d always thought Henry was a bit afraid of him. But, Henry had seemed relaxed if a bit thoughtful. And Zhou Mi was so sure he’d bet his left hand that Henry had been thinking about him.

That small outburst was enough proof. No one could tell Zhou Mi that Henry hadn’t been thinking about liking him. It was a start. It was a nice start. Maybe there was some chance that he could be part of Zhou Ry. But, first, he had to check some things. He couldn’t just sit and hope that Henry would come to his senses. He needed a plan B.

And well, he knew he was a Hankyung lover, a Siwon…well, let’s just say he wouldn’t be looking for a Siwon anytime soon. He knew that he and Kyuhyun were better made to be best friends. He just needed to know what would happen with a Donghae or an Eunhyuk.

Zhou Mi was still deciding who he would check first when he walked past their dance room. He shrugged and decided that whoever he saw first would be his next experiment. He walked in and spotted Eunhyuk sitting in the corner. Donghae, Hankyung and Henry were leaning over him.

“What happened?” Zhou Mi asked walking over.

“I fell.” Eunhyuk said looking out the window.

“No, someone pushed him because they’re jealous of how awesome he is.” Henry answered.

“No.”

“Eunhyuk, be quiet and sit still. We’ll take you back to the dorm.” Hankyung said reaching to pick up Eunhyuk.

“No, I’m fine. You three should go to the practice. I’ll be fine here. I’ll go to the dorm in a second and it’s not fair that you should miss this practice just because of me. I’ll catch up when I’m better so go.”

Hankyung looked ready to protest and Donghae too, but Zhou Mi beat them.

“I’ll watch him. I’ll stay with him until he’s ready to go back to the dorm and I’ll make sure he gets there okay.”

“Yes.” Eunhyuk said motioning Zhou Mi over. “I’ll stay with Zhou Mi. You go.”

Zhou Mi moved in between Donghae and Eunhyuk and sat down. He leaned down so that Eunhyuk could lean against him and turned to look at the others. Zhou Mi met Donghae’s narrowed eyes with a smile.

“I’ll watch him. You can go.” He said.

Hankyung nodded. “Eunhyuk’s right. He can more than catch up once he’s better. We, on the other hand, need the practice. As long as you think you’ll be fine.”

“I will.” Eunhyuk said.

“Okay. And you promise to watch him right Mi?”

“I promise.” Zhou Mi said.

Hankyung nodded. “Let’s go then. I want to see just how hard that little kid can push.”

“Hyung.” Eunhyuk moaned burying his face in Zhou Mi’s arm. “Let it go.”

“Fine. I’ll let it go.”

Zhou Mi heard vague muttering from Hankyung and he knew that Hankyung had no intention of letting anything go. He wouldn’t do anything, but he’d be watching that kid forever.

Zhou Mi sort of liked that about Hankyung. He liked how protective he could be and how he tried so hard to make sure that everyone else was happy. But, he also liked protecting. He liked how Eunhyuk held onto his arm.

Maybe he was should go for someone smaller than him then. Maybe he was the kind that liked to protect. Maybe he had picked that up from Hankyung. He could always change. But, that would mean that he had to go after men like Siwon and maybe Zhou Mi didn’t like that.

But, then the only option left to him would be Henry. He really liked Henry. He liked that Henry was shy and dependent on whoever he met. He liked that despite being rich Henry was modest. He liked knowing that Henry would depend on him.

“Zhou Mi, can we go now?”

“Yeah.” Zhou Mi said helping Eunhyuk up.

They walked together each gone in whatever they were thinking. Zhou Mi was too busy wondering why he suddenly felt like he had to protect Henry. He was wondering why he wanted to hug Henry and never let go. He was wondering why it mattered whether Henry liked him or not.

“You can let go now.” Eunhyuk said.

Zhou Mi looked up and noticed that they were back in Eunhyuk’s dorm. He nodded and let Eunhyuk down on the couch.

“Can I take a look?” Zhou Mi asked kneeling and pushing away Eunhyuk’s pants. “That looks like a nasty sprain. Maybe you should massage it.”

“Um, I’m fine.”

Zhou Mi shook his head and despite Eunhyuk’s protests he began light fluttering touches on Eunhyuk’s ankle. When the Eunhyuk said nothing, he continued taking care to be gentle where necessary. He was busy letting his hands do what they had to when Eunhyuk’s hand stopped his.

“What?” he asked.

“What are you doing?”

Zhou Mi frowned. “I’m helping you heal.”

“Uh, Mi, I’m not sure your hand is supposed to be all the way up there.”

Zhou Mi looked down. His hand was on Eunhyuk’s thigh. He frowned then shrugged.

“We have to do what we have to do.” Zhou Mi said continuing.

“Mi.” Eunhyuk said wincing at the slight pain in his ankle.

“Yeah?”

“You have magical fingers.”

“HE HAS WHAT?”

Zhou Mi looked up. “Oh, hello Donghae.”

“What do you mean magical fingers Eunhyuk?” Donghae said glaring at Zhou Mi’s hands on Eunhyuk.

“Hae, wait, it’s not what you’re thinking.”

Zhou Mi shook his head. Oh boy, here they went again.
