Ryeowook walked away in a daze. He had just left Yesung.
The past few days had been like a dream to him. He still couldn't believe that Yesung was with him. It had been so unexpected. He had prepared himself for a long wait, a really, really, really long wait. But, Yesung had come to him pretty quickly.
It was a bit gratifying. It made him feel better about all the times Yesung had ignored him. As long as there was nothing wrong with him. Not that he didn’t think about Yesung, he really cared about Yesung. He supposed it had something to do with the way Yesung had of talking to you.
Whenever Yesung said anything, it was like he was really thinking it through, as if the person he was talking to deserved only the best. And it probably also had to do with the way Yesung’s hair was all over his face. It made Wookie want to run his hands all over it.
And then there was Yesung’s personality. Could there really be anyone as clueless as Yesung? Could there be anyone sweeter? Could there be a more caring person? Wookie felt like he had to find a way to give Yesung everything and anything he wanted and deserved.
It certainly was a change he hadn’t been expecting. He was never one to care about others. He had his reasons for what he did and he never cared about how what he did might affect other people. He just did what he did. But, Yesung had changed him, had made him realize that it didn’t feel too nice to be ignored.
The only problem left to him now was Hankyung. He had to learn to accept the tall blond if he was going to make things work with Yesung. That was the deal. Yesung came with Eunhyuk and Hankyung. Eunhyuk was no problem. He and Ryeowook got along well together especially since Donghae was so intent on giving it a try with the other dancer.
Hankyung was something else though.
“Ryeowook.”
Wookie looked up. Of course. It figured he would run into Hankyung soon. He had been expecting it the minute he and Yesung started their
“relationship.”
"Hankyung." he said nodding.
"Listen to me." Hankyung said pushing him against the wall.
Wookie raised an eyebrow. So they were getting straight to the point then.
"I'm only going to say this once.” Hankyung continued. “For some reason Yesung thinks that he can be happy with you. If it were up to me I'd send him as far from you as possible. But, I'm no one to tell him what to do so, I have to tell you and make sure you understand. If you ever hurt him I will come for you. If you ever make him cry I will come for you. If you so much as think about hurting him, I will come for you."
"Don't threaten me." Ryeowook answered.
"I can threaten you.” Hankyung whispered, his voice soft, but menacing. “I don't buy it for one second that you changed. You can make Yesung believe it, but I don’t. I won’t believe it until you have proved it to me a million times over. Yesung believes you for some reason, but I’m warning you. Yesung gave up too much to come here. He has no family, but me and Eunhyuk and we intend to protect him. He’s not alone. He has me to watch him, to protect him from people like you. Don’t think for a minute that he’s alone because I'll be watching you. I’ll make sure you don’t hurt him."
"Hankyung!" Wookie let out a breath as Hankyung released him and turned to his friend.
"What's going on?" Eunhyuk asked looking between them.
"Nothing. Ryeowook and I were just talking. He's dating Yesung." Hankyung said.
Donghae's eyes questioned Wookie, but he just shook his head.
"You're dating Yesung?" Donghae asked as Hankyung walked away.
Wookie had a faint idea that is Hankyung stayed longer he, Ryeowook, would be on the floor bleeding.
"Yes. I am." Wookie said speaking to Donghae but looking at Eunhyuk. "I love him. I won't hurt him."
Eunhyuk ran a hand through his hair. "Listen I'm not going to threaten you because Hankyung did that already. But, I am going to warn you. Yesung may be a hyung, but he might as well be our dongsaeng. He's too nice and sweet to be hurt. We'll watch out for him and for you too. Don't hurt him."
Wookie nodded.
He understood. He would show them. He loved Yesung. A funny thing that he, the school's playboy, should fall for the scholarship student.
