I'm sorry you ever had to go through something like this. It is such a hard thing to decide to walk away, and it gets harder the longer you spend and live through with the person. Austria and the scene in my kitchen happened years apart. I remember telling myself so many times in between that I could forgive this one thing because she had been there for me for some other thing. Eventually, that wasn't enough and I realized something had to change.
