[Chapter 1] [Chapter 2]
A/N: Okay so here I am with the first chapter of the Zhou Ry. Because like I said in the Kyumin starting Wednesday i am going to be back home and that means that my updates will get all crazy. I can't say when I'll update or what time and so I am going to let you guys have as much fic as you can have before my updating goes crazy. So here is the Zhou Ry and can I just say that I absolutely adore this Zhou Mi. I love him like you would not believe. I think this is my favorite of all the Golden Boy fics. (yes I know I said this about the Hanchul too) So here it is and enjoy.
Zhou Mi watched Kyuhyun and Sungmin. He still didn’t understand how Kyuhyun had gotten Sungmin to forgive him so easily. He sure hadn’t had that easy of a time convincing Kyuhyun to do anything for him. He supposed it was because Kyuhyun was actually ridiculously in love with Sungmin.
Whatever it was, the air was thick with love and it was starting to suffocate him. He was till his usual cheery self, but whenever Heechul and Hankyung got too close to him, he had to take a step back to breathe. He didn’t understand how they did it. He couldn’t understand how the two of them had been together for three years now.
And then there was Eunhyuk and Donghae. Those two were one big ball of happiness. It was sweet, but scary. There had to be a law prohibiting two people from loving each other the way those two did. It was never hidden, always open, always sweet and caring. And there was no scandal over it. Everyone accepted it.
Everyone accepted Eunhyuk and Donghae and Siwon and Yesung and he still wasn’t too sure about Heechul and Hankyung. Zhou Mi knew that Hankyung wanted nothing more than for the world to know what he felt for Heechul, but Heechul was till hesitant about his family meeting Hankyung.
The school loved them all. They loved the Golden Boys. They loved F4. It was all one big massive fan club of screaming girls, jealous guys and admirers. Zhou Mi was considered part of the Golden Boys. He was immediately paired with Kyuhyun then with Han Geng then with Heechul then back with Han Geng then finally left alone as hopeful girls followed him.
Henry who was also new to the world of the Golden Boys and F4 was placed in a separate category. The school didn’t know what to do with him. He was an exception. And Zhou Mi knew that the reason that they separated Henry was because they all wanted to have a try. He was waiting for his try if you could call it that.
He had first been attracted to Henry’s cute baby face and those cheeks that just screamed pinch me. But, then he’d watched Henry change and mature into a wonderful young man who although still carried that baby face, could also look…dare he say it…sexy?
Zhou Mi cast a quick look around. He was watching out for Hankyung. His best friend since they were old enough to walk, Han Geng, now Hankyung in Korea, was the boss. Whatever Hankyung said went. If Hankyung wanted Zhou Mi to jump on one foot for the rest of his life, then Zhou Mi would jump on one foot for the rest of his life. Hankyung owned Zhou Mi, mind body and soul, at least until Henry realized that he liked guys or Zhou Mi to be more exact.
Before Henry there had been someone else: Cho Kyuhyun.
Zhou Mi had met Kyuhyun while he was studying in China and they’d been more than happy to be friends then more than happy to date. Zhou Mi loved Kyuhyun, but he’d always known that their particular path was friendship.
Now, Kyuhyun was dating Sungmin.
Zhou Mi approved. He also approved of Heechul and Hankyung. Those two were just something else. Hankyung was obviously in love like a fool with Heechul and it was nice to see that Heechul reciprocated those feelings. It was about time Hankyung got what he deserved.
What interested Zhou Mi the most was the Yewon relationship. It was cute, but Zhou Mi seriously thought he would look better on Siwon’s arm. He was tall, long, lean and Siwon was tall, muscular. They would look good together.
The only reason he hadn’t tried was because Hankyung (Zhou Mi was still not used to the Korean name) wanted to kill him for thinking that Henry was cute and that he might want to have a go at that. He didn’t want to think what Hankyung would do to him if he found out that Zhou Mi wanted to take away Yesung’s lover.
He shuddered.
It wasn’t that he didn’t like Henry because that boy was just too cute for his own good, but he liked attractive pairings. He dated mostly based on that whether or not he would look good with someone. It was the reason he hadn’t complained too loudly when Hankyung had warned him away from Henry. He still wasn’t too sure they’d look good. Then again, he could always dye his hair to match the color Henry had.
He frowned. Whatever, he’d think about that later. Right now he had to go try something. He’d really been out of the dating scene for a while, ever since Kyuhyun actually. And he wasn’t too sure how good his dating skills were. He needed to practice with someone he knew, needed to experiment.
“Maybe I’ll try Siwon and Han Geng.” He told himself.
“Talking to yourself, Mi?”
He turned and looked right into Kyuhyun’s smiling face.
“Hello Kui Xian.” Zhou Mi said vaguely distracted. “What are you doing here?”
“Uh, Mi? I live here. What are you doing hanging out near my dorm? I know you’re obsessed with me and everything, but I thought we discussed this already?”
“Yeah. That sounds great.” Zhou Mi said starting to walk.
“Mi, you’re not listening. What’s wrong?”
“Kui Xian, do you think I would look good next to someone taller than me or shorter? Maybe shorter since I think it’ll be hard to find someone taller than me.”
“Zhou Mi, it’s impossible to find someone taller than you. And what does it matter? What are you talking about? Did Henry dump you? Is that why you’re so weird?”
Zhou Mi looked up. “Oh, hey, can you stand next to me for a second.”
Zhou Mi ignored the eye roll Kyuhyun directed at him and took his hand. He frowned. Shorter it was then. He liked looking taller, more in control. So, he would go for someone his height or shorter, not that finding too many people shorter than him was a hard thing to do. Basically all he had to do was look down and he’d find someone.
“Mi, what is wrong with you?”
“I don’t know what to do.” Zhou Mi said hopelessly. “I haven’t dated anyone in years. Years Kui Xian, years. I probably forgot how to kiss someone already.”
“God Mi, is that all.” Kyuhyun rolled his eyes. “Just go out there and stick your hand out and someone will fall into it. Or have you not noticed all the screaming fans you have just because we know you.”
“But, Kyu, it’s mostly just girls. And the guys that are there don’t even want to talk to us because they’re afraid all the fan girls will kill them. That leaves me very limited options. I have to pick from our group. But, I don’t know who would look better next to me. Maybe I should go find out.”
Zhou Mi missed the smirk. He missed the way Kyuhyun’s eyes filled with mischievous light. He missed the way Kyuhyun was practically jumping up and down with joy.
See, the thing was. Kyuhyun was bored. There was nothing going on these days. Everyone was so happy, so in love. Where was the fun in life? Where was the drama? How was he going to be able to enjoy the rest of the year if there was no drama? And if the drama wasn’t going to start then he’d have to help it along.
He considered the Eunhae, Yewon and Hanchul. His first choice would have been EUnhae. Those two had been together for way too long, happy for way too long. But, he just didn’t find them as amusing as Heechul, and Siwon and Yesung had gotten together recently and he didn’t think it was fair to mess with them…yet.
“You should Mi. I’d say Hankyung hyung is the best choice.” Kyuhyun assured his friend. “You two look great together. Go see for yourself. But, you know what? Why stop there? There’s still Siwon.”
“What about Donghae? Or maybe Eunhyuk?” Zhou Mi asked glad that someone was taking him seriously.
“Both.”
“Both?”
“You can never tell with those two, just go for both, Mi.”
“Okay.” Zhou Mi said. “I’ll go see Han Geng first.”
Kyuhyun nodded his encouragement as he watched Zhou Mi leave. Oh, this was going to be so much fun.
“What are you smirking at?”
Kyuhyun looked over at Sungmin who had that suspicious look in his eyes, the one that said to Kyuhyun that he was in trouble, even if he had done nothing wrong…yet.
“Min, I love you.”
“What did you do?”
Kyuhyun turned, the smile on his face enough to threaten Onew’s sunshine smile.
“You’ll see.”
A/N: So this was the first chapter and a sort of but not really introduction to what is going to happen in this part of the AU. And well the next chapter is going to be longer. I promise and yeah. That is all and I don't even know what to do with myself anymore. i was writing some Sihan and then had to stop and go write some Hanchul and then I was writing some Kyuhan and had to stop and go write more Hanchul. My whole expanding to other pairings is just resulting in the birth of more Hanchul fics. Hey, I am not complaining =)
