chu_loves_hyuk went and made this for me. I love you so much bb <3 So uh...I TOTALLY OWN SIWON! Yeah psh like that'll ever happen. Anyway...today I was re-watching some Super Junior M shows and OMG HENRY I TOTALLY LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! *glomps Henry* I am going to take him away from Zhou Mi and run away with him!! D: *flails like mad* I love it when he sings in English. I love it when he says I love you in English. I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!! And and and yeah...so uh...okay =) Here is the next chapter and I posted this early because I have some news. I need to study now and I am going to take tomorrow off and not post until Monday because I sort of have to study because my finals are coming up. So here is the next chapter and I can already hear it now. ;) I know I know. I will make it better? Ohs, but you know what? You will all know the pairing for the final part of this fic by the end of this chapter =)
Kyuhyun woke up because there was someone screaming really loudly in his ear. He opened his eyes and tried to sit up, but couldn’t because Sungmin was half on top of him.
“KYUHYUN! What the fuck? Get off my bed right now. No fucking way! You are so dead! If I can’t kill you myself I’ll have Hankyung do it, but neither of you lives through today.”
“Heechul?” he asked through his daze.
“Fuck yes, I’m Heechul. What the hell were you thinking? Get your pink fluff ball off my bed and leave. NOW!”
Kyuhyun groaned. He shook Sungmin who looked up at him with wide eyes full of sleep.
“Get off my bed!”
Kyuhyun ignored the screaming Heechul and took his sweet time dressing. He knew he was in serious trouble and he would have been afraid, but he really wasn’t thinking straight. How could he be after last night?
“Heechul?”
Kyuhyun almost fell down with relief as Heechul finally stopped threatening them. He thanked the world for Hankyung as Heechul disappeared.
“What was that?” Sungmin asked as they piled on their clothes.
“I don’t know.” Kyuhyun shrugged. “I guess Heechul doesn’t like it when there are other people on his bed. Go figure.”
Kyuhyun watched Sungmin’s laugh, mesmerized. He still wasn’t sure how he had made it that long without trying something. He really had to congratulate himself.
“Come on Min. Let’s go see if Hankyung made breakfast.”
Hankyung had made breakfast and Kyuhyun enjoyed it despite the glares Heechul kept sending him.
“Hyung, your bed is really comfortable.” Kyuhyun said after one particularly evil glare. “I think I understand why you and Hankyung hyung spend so much time in there.”
He smirked at the blush that spread across Heechul’s face. It was almost cute the way Heechul hid his face into Hankyung’s side. It amused Kyuhyun to no end to see the almighty Kim Heechul reduced to a blushing mess.
“Oh hyung, I never knew you were so…so shy.” He continued watching Hankyung hold Heechul close.
“Shut up.” Heechul muttered from Hankyung’s side.
“Leave him alone.” Hankyung said.
“But, hyung,” Kyuhyun complained. “It’s fun.”
“Go.” Hankyung said.
“I don’t want to.”
Kyuhyun watched the smirk on Hankyung’s face and he didn’t like it. He liked it even less when Hankyung leaned down to pull Heechul’s face up to his. And he certainly didn’t like it when Hankyung started kissing Heechul senseless.
“Ugh, people these days. Let’s go Min.” Kyuhyun said taking Sungmin’s hand.
He was surprised to find that it was actually nicer to hold Sungmin like that, nicer than he expected. He liked the way their hands folded into each other, liked the way Sungmin’s fingers intertwined with his.
“Min?”
“Yeah?” Sungmin answered.
And just like that he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t bring himself to tell Sungmin exactly what he was thinking and he earned a new respect for Siwon. This whole confessing thing was harder than it sounded, not that he had to confess.
“Kyu?”
“Yes?”
“What did you want to tell me?”
Kyuhyun looked at Sungmin and knew that the other man knew exactly what he was thinking.
“I was just going to tell you that you can let go of my hand now.”
“I don’t want to.” Sungmin said backing Kyuhyun into a corner.
Kyu looked down at Sungmin. He didn’t really mind being cornered. And he certainly didn’t mind that Sungmin’s free hand was in his hair. He didn’t really care that they were in a public hallway and that anyone who turned the corner could see them.
He really didn’t care about anything, but watching that look in Sungmin’s eyes that told him quite clearly what he was feeling. They were both so into looking at each other that they almost missed Siwon and Yesung. Kyuhyun wasn’t completely blind though. He noticed them first. He saw the way Siwon wrapped his hand around Yesung’s. He saw the way Siwon pulled Yesung closer as they neared Kyuhyun and Sungmin. He watched the way Yesung smiled shyly at them and the way he turned away when Kyuhyun smirked.
Oh, it had been Siwon. It had definitely been Siwon.
“Hello Siwon-sshi.” Kyuhyun said his voice thick with sweetness. “Why are you up so early? I would have thought that you would still be in bed.”
He smirked at the blush that painted Siwon’s face.
Yes, definitely Siwon.
“I like getting up early.”
Kyuhyun’s answer was a smirk. He waited as Siwon and Yesung’s face both flushed a darker red. Kyuhyun heard Sungmin laugh besides him and he wrapped an arm around him.
“I guess you could say I like it too.” Kyuhyun said when no one said anything. “But, I would still be in bed, if Heechul hadn’t woken me up. Don’t go in that dorm by the way. They’re impossible. You’d think that since they’re older, they’d have more control.”
“I think it’s nice that they have each other.” Yesung said. “We all know that Hankyung deserves to be happy.”
“I deserve to be happy too.” Siwon said immediately.
“I can’t wait for the confession.” Kyuhyun whispered into Sungmin’s ear.
He watched Yesung soothe Siwon and he couldn’t help the sincere smile that painted his face. He was happy that they were happy although he would never admit it.
“Guys, can you help us?”
The four of them turned as Eunhyuk and Donghae walked up to them. The two of them were dragging along someone, but they were still too far away for Kyuhyun to make out who it was.
“What is it?” Siwon called back waiving them over.
“Where’s Hankyung hyung?” Eunhyuk called as Donghae ran forward.
“He’s with Heechul locked up in the dorm. Why?” Sungmin asked.
“Someone’s looking for him.”
“Who?” Sungmin asked. “Kyu, what’s wrong?”
But, Kyuhyun couldn’t answer. He finally saw who it was that Eunhyuk was pulling along. He should have realized it before. How could he have forgotten that height? How could he have not recognized that hair, those long legs, the way he walked?
He didn’t understand how he had missed it. He should have been able to recognize this man the minute he caught a glimpse of him. He had trained himself to recognize him so that he could run, so that if the day ever came, he would be safe.
Kyuhyun hadn’t expected this. He hadn’t expected to be surprised here, in his home, in Korea. He hadn’t expected to have this man placed in front of him again. He hadn’t expected to be standing next to Sungmin when it happened. As a matter of fact, he hadn’t ever expected Sungmin.
It was like a dream. To have the man he loved now and the man who he had promised to love forever in the same place, at the same time.
And Kyuhyun didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know if he should run into the man in front of him and hold him. He didn’t know if he should turn away, if he should search those eyes, look for eye contact. He didn’t know if he should turn to Sungmin and ask for help. He didn’t know if he should hide behind Sungmin. He didn’t know if he wanted Sungmin to hold him and never let him go.
He just didn’t know.
He didn’t understand why he had to have this happen now. He had been fine. He had been happy. He didn’t need this reminder. He didn’t need to see that smiling face again. He didn’t need to hear that happy voice that used to get to him. He didn’t need to see that man.
But, he looked. Kyuhyun looked. He caught those dark eyes that had looked at him like no other. He saw surprise quickly replaced by longing, hope, love. And he was caught in them, sucked into them the way he had been long ago. He was hopelessly stuck there, rooted to the spot as Eunhyuk and the man came closer.
He could feel Sungmin next to him, no longer talking to him and he knew Sungmin must have noticed. But, he couldn’t bring himself to feel the proper guilt. He was too busy lost in those dark eyes.
He was Cho Kyuhyun, but he broke the instant that mouth opened.
“Hello. I’m Zhou Mi.”
